For the past five years, the Advanced Placement teachers at Grandville High School and East Kentwood High School have hosted the Advanced Placement Best Practices Conference held at Calvin College. We are pleased to announce we will again be hosting this conference on May 23rd, 2017.
This full day conference is designed for AP and Pre-AP teachers to learn and grow through the sharing of best practices in the classroom. The agenda includes two choice breakout sessions in the morning followed by a powerful keynote address from Dave Stuart Jr, an AP World History teacher from Cedar Springs who also maintains a blog with over 35,000 monthly subscribers. The popular roundtable sessions will remain on the schedule for the afternoon time slot. In these collaborative sessions AP teachers of the same course share ideas that are specific to their course.
The cost will again be $50 per person, which includes breakfast and lunch.
